Without a strategy, looking for a job is overwhelming. A job search strategy helps you stay focused and provides direction during the job search process. You’ll feel more in control and less anxiety.
Targeted Resumes
A recruiter only spends 5-7 seconds reviewing a resume, and most do not read cover letters at this point. That’s why your resume must speak directly to the position you are applying for.
Networking
Experts say 85% of jobs are filled through networking. Many job seekers don’t network because they feel like it’s inauthentic or “fake”, they have social anxiety, or they feel like they are bothering others. You can learn skills to make networking easier and more productive.

You don’t get what you don’t ask for. But knowing when and how to negotiate is confusing. During your first screening interview with a recruiter, they will often ask “What is your desired compensation.” Preparation for salary questions and negotiations is key to getting you the compensation you deserve.
